The results are in!!! Over $62,000 was raised in this year’s Stride for Life!

Nearly 200 people attended the Stride on Friday, April 25th. The rain held off just long enough for us to walk, enjoy delicious food and fun activities for the family, live music, and a brief program including Stride awards and a patient who shared her testimony. Overall, it was a joy-filled event celebrating LIFE together!

Over 140 people registered to walk
Nearly 900 people sponsored those walkers
🏆️ AWARDS 🏆️
Tom Almarode received the Marshall Braylo award for raising the MOST funds ($3,795)
Steve and Bea Conner received the Guardian Award for gaining the MOST Sponsors (69 sponsors!).
The Messenger Award went to the team who collectively raised the most funds. That team was Valley Baptist Church who raised $7,220!!
The Grand Prize Drawing included a 2-night stay at a local Staunton Stays AirBNB. This prize was given to one person who raised over $1000. On Stride day, 16 people were eligible to win. Congrats to Wende Harris whose name was drawn! We hope you enjoy your stay, Wende!
